Eighthundred was a project I put together last year as part of the celebration's for Liverpool's 800th Birthday. I had this idea of photographing 800 people on the occasion of the birthday but a few calculations told me there would something like 2 minutes per person photographed over 24 hours so I decided to put together a team of 8 photographers to complete the task. We were then offered a space , the Grand Hall to be precise, at the Albert Dock to show the work and decided that we would have the show up within 48 hours of the work being produced! With design and branding support from Black & Ginger and financial support from Merseyside ACME, Paul Rooney Partnership Solicitors and Paul O'Hare Interiors we got away with it! Admittedly it was last minute but it worked and over the following 9 days approximately 10,000 people came to see the show! Thanks to all involved.
